Vereisten: Weekend Three is for authorized Meditation Instructors and those being mentored into the role only.
Weekend Three includes a Saturday overview of mental health, meditatie, and the role of the Meditation Instructor tailored for people who are not mental health experts. Presenters will address the following topics:
Sunday will focus on investigating the personal journey of a Meditation Instructor framed in terms of the four dignities of meek, parmantig, outrageous, and inscrutable. Topics that will be addressed are:
Weekend Three is the last of a series of three training sessions for those interested in sharing the practice of meditation with others. These programs are designed to cultivate the understanding and skills to assist others along their meditation path. This series can be taken as continuing education for already authorized Meditation Instructors, and can serve as initial training for people who are practicing meditation and are interested in developing as Meditation Instructors.

Janet Solyntjes is sindsdien lid van de Shambhala-gemeenschap 1984 en begon Shambhala Training-niveaus te regisseren 1993. Janet heeft als meditatieleraar gewerkt aan de faculteit van de Naropa Universiteit, Centrum voor Mindfulness, Betrokken Mindfulness Instituut, en Mindful Leider. Janet en haar man, Jef Prijs, zijn mede-oprichters van het in Boulder gevestigdeCentrum voor Moedig Leven.
Elaine Yuen is een opvoeder, kapelaan en onderzoeker. Ze is sinds het begin van de jaren zeventig student en docent in de Shambhala-gemeenschap. Tussen 2012 En 2020 ze was professor aan de Naropa Universiteit, waar ze cursussen gaf over pastorale zorg (kapelaan), contemplative education and Buddhist studies. Elaine is deeply interested in how we shape our social interactions with caring and authentic presence. Ze geeft les in binnen- en buitenland, doorgaan met het verkennen van de raakvlakken tussen het boeddhisme, meditatie, creativiteit, en contemplatieve zorgverlening.
